Out on Waterloo Lake for the AQUA project

Two members of our water monitoring group, Sue Tuffin and Martin Childs, took to the waves with Dean Jordan from the canoe club to identify and photograph the outfall pipes around Waterloo Lake. This was part of the Outfall Safari being carried out by the group for the University of York AQUA project. Many thanks to Dean for taking Sue and Martin out in the boat. The group have surveyed all along Great Heads Beck starting up near Shadwell Lane along the ring road and into Roundhay Park, along Ram Beck and Fox Wood Beck, leading into Waterloo Lake.
