Gardening

REAP Gardening Group wants to help our community to grow as much of our own food as possible.  By doing this, we will not only reduce our food miles, recycle our green waste and reduce our carbon foot  and we will also improve our health and well being.

REAP Garden Club will be meeting again on Saturday 26 February at The Open Door, 225 Lidgett Lane 10.00am to midday.  Preparing for the Gardening Year: Soil and composting; sow some seeds, make germination pots out of newspapers; advice and information.  Free with a cup of tea!

Next Garden Club will be on Saturday 26 March at St Edmund’s Swishing Event .  Pop it in your diary now and look out for more information coming soon!

We have a number of schemes underway which we hope members of our community will join:

  • PLANT SWAPS at the FARMERS’ MARKET
  • Monthly GARDEN CLUB at The Open Door, Lidgett Lane
  • Advice and informatoon on RECYCLING and COMPOSTING in the garden
  • Community Gardening
